First off, you just have to love their tagline!
When it hits the fan, don't say we didn't warn you.

Looking at this quote of theirs and the numbers just didn't seem right. Was the epidemic really that bad? It definitely wasn't reported like that.

Ebola, a haemorrhagic fever, killed at least 11,000 across the world after it decimated West Africa and spread rapidly over the space of two years.

The pandemic was officially declared over back in January 2016, when Liberia was announced to be Ebola-free by the WHO.

The country, rocked by back-to-back civil wars that ended in 2003, was hit the hardest by the fever, with 40 per cent of the deaths having occurred there.

Sierra Leone reported the highest number of Ebola cases, with nearly of all those infected having been residents of the nation. -Daily Mail

It was that bad, and probably a lot worse; those were just the cases officially registered. The western press started to downplay it when they saw how jumpy everyone was getting. When it started to be reported more and more, you couldn't find gloves (latex or nitrile) or face protection anywhere - even the paint supply shops were out of stock and on backorder. Then, when people really started freaking after they brought a couple cases to the US for treatment, the media really ramped things down.

Of course, I think there are only one or two of those medical containment planes in all of the US. Yeah, it got pretty bad, they lost so many nurses. ... rra-leone/

And here goes India... It's that bat to pig to people virus from the movies. ... dv?ffid=gz

The death toll from the deadly Nipah virus in the southern Indian state of Kerala has risen to 10, doctors say. Two others who have tested positive for the virus are critically ill.

Some 40 people have been put under under quarantine following the deaths.
Symptoms of infection include fever, vomiting and headaches, making the virus hard to diagnose.
Nipah has a mortality rate of 70% and there is no vaccine. It can be transmitted to humans from animals.
Nipah virus is also "top of the list" of 10 priority diseases that the WHO has identified as potentials for the next major outbreak.
