When I became a NRA firearms instructor my TC charged us to continue learning, especially from other trainers so we could see things from a different point of view.
Well, two weeks ago I completed the class for AZ Unarmed Security Guard and sometime in January I'll go back and do AZ Armed Security Guard. I don't have any intention of ever working as a security guard, but it is training and good training is always worthwhile. Now obviously I know how vulnerable some of the areas we venture into really are, but this class made rethink my precautions. While I am not a big advocate for a "truck gun" unless they are in true locked containers I have been looking into modifying my 9mm Kriss Vector so that it is more portable and concealable; getting a folding stock for it, and depending on how this pistol brace BS settles possibly getting it SBR'd. We'll see...

I already carry a bag everyday, the idea of having an insert that my PCC just slides in only makes my worry I've become paranoid just a tiny bit.
The other thing I did, which honestly I'll be able to use much sooner and I think is much more important; I picked up a cheap Condor Sentry plate carrier for a pair of spare plates I owned. Added a pistol mag pouch with some spare mags and it's getting tossed in a bag under the back seat of the Jeep this week. This way if I ever need to go get the kids in a prohibited area I have some protection, and if I'm not supposed to have the mags I leave them in the Jeep.
